Drunk elk (I've always called them moose, but that's my confused upbringing for you) are a regular problem in Sweden.  Every year there are a few that break into peoples' homes, often (it is conjectured) because they've seen their own reflection in a french door or similar, thought it was another elk and charged it.

Never seen one up a tree before as they really don't have the body shape for climbing  ;)
