Montezuma hasn't been well of late. The vet reckons that he's got thyroid problems, so he's on medication now. Which, it has to be said, has perked him up a right treat.

Another addition to the Noodley household arrived last weekend. He is called Jock, or Big Jock (he is only 10 days older than Angus, but is the size of an adult), or Kinky Jock (he has a kink in his tail)

He's a Caramel shaded bi-colour Oriental:

I had never heard that. It's a nice story. His tail is very very long, as are his legs.

This is the pub cat at the Jenyn Arms, on Regs Ride to Regicide yesterday. The little furry bugger kept on looking away just as I took a shot!

He (she?) seemed quite chatty, but wasn't willing to come down and say hello, possibly because of the Cockerel who was wandering about!

This is 'Cyril'. He has taken to sleeping in our flower trough.

We call him Cyril because we can't remember his real name. He is the neighbour's roof-climbing cat.

We lost one of our cats last weekend, killed by a car about a mile from home.

We miss her terribly and it's been a hard week, but happy memories are replacing the sadness. So I thought I should post a pic of Rosie here, in one of her favourite places snuggled up on warm towels just out of the tumble drier:
