This seems to have become A Thing. After several years of spam-free use, I've had two unsolicited messages in the past week, one of them from a recruitment agent. The second seemed to be from Myanmar, if I've understood country codes correctly.

Yes, I’ve had a few of these too. Recruitment agents wanting to discuss my application. The one I have no recollection of making. ::-)

It’s just people sending to random numbers just hit “block and report” which is a lot easier than the crap that comes to the landline ( if you have one of those)

I've had 2 or 3 on the last couple of months, recruitment approaches originating in Indonesia if the number is to be believed.

Another 5 years of the Tories, and Indonesian wages will start to look attractive.
