Not the sharpest knives in the box.
My S-i-L is getting hooked up with them - first ever internet connection (as she explained to them).
The send you the modem, etc but tell you not to use it until your connection date.
How do you know your connection date? Why, they email it to you >:(

BT informed me by email when I got BroadBand, but I already had a dial-up account elsewhere.
They probably are unfamiliar with first timers, ijits!

When I had it installed (3 months ago), a guy came and installed it all, and they sent us the install date by post ???
