Thanks Peter. Not far in that direction is a field where grass was being cut (for silage?). A field where there were plans for housing which have now been refused/abandoned/shelved.

Quote from: Sarah Vine
I used to think politics was a big adventure. Now there are days I stand in the shower, numb and fearful.

That’s probably because you’re a Super-Twat, Ms Vine.  Although we knew that anyway.  I mean, you actually married Slithy Gove.

Also, try turning up the temperature control.

I am glad it is being taken seriously. Hopefully it will be used to learn lessons and not blame low-paid people, but fix systems for the future.

It wouldn't be the Kelvedon Oyster without a Kelvedon start and the opportunity to exchange some ACME currency for an oyster in Mersea...

You could stay at river level for a while longer and ride along the promenade to the Hythe, exit on to Park Drive and rejoin the route at the roundabout junction with Mundon Road.  Less elevation gain but the potential hazard of pedestrians, on the plus side you could get sausage & chips from one of the numerous café takeaways in the park.

LEJOG cluster opportunities just waiting for somebody.... ;-)
Hmmm - wondered about that after completing Land's End to Bristol, but a quick look at road density in Scotland (north of Golspie)  suggests it's impossible on roads or tracks. You'd need to kayak a lot.
