We had L Game at my primary school.
I confess it never imparted on us the same wisdom/realisation as watching a computer play noughts and crosses against Matthew Broderick in "War Games"; we just got bored...

I remember when I was a small person, couldn’t have been older than 8 or 9, finding one of his books on my parents’ bookshelves and thinking it looked like it might be a fun puzzle book, a bit like the logic problems I used to enjoy at that age.

Didn’t get very far with it.

Rog got there first, the perils of being a late starter.

There's a bus route in Uxbridge numbered U2 and I once remarked to my wife 'how does it find its way, where the streets have no name' and she started divorce proceedings. Tough crowd.

I'm intrigued by his idea of shipping Marmite to the Middle East to solve the Arab-Israeli conflict. It might have worked - when both sides tried the stuff and then teamed up to wage a holy war on the UK...  :demon:
