Pair of Karrimor thin winter goves for £2.99, from Sports Direct. Stretchy things and light enough to give full control with the fingers. They will be no good in mid winter but perfect for the chillier mornings we are now experiencing.

A couple of M520 pedals, and some Wellgo cleats, which I think will work with the SPDs, but cost substantially less.

Also, a couple of pairs of dhb Merston tights, for when the weather gets a bit colder.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Today A317 rim arrived at work sandwiched between two enormous pieces of cardboard.  Waiting for the hub so I can decide which spokes to buy.

PURPLE Uno quill stem just 'coz.

Some cheap panniers from SJSC looked useful and value for money.

And a copy of the original Topeak Panoram 'puter from the late 90s. Well, it was only 8 quid posted from Hong Kong. I'll keep you posted if runs backwards or owt . . .

I saw them on t'bay, thought about it for a nano-second then realised I have an original, which is fitted to purple bike.

Now if they did a copy of the panoram 12C, I would have one in a flash (the 12c was the one with cadence, but a smaller screen), or even better, if they did these ones updated to include cadence I would be a happy bunny :)

A new front light. A smart bspoke on a discount at wiggle. Not my main beam but I hope it will be a decent second and be seen light. Couldn't get a spare bracket for the non-broken light in a reasonable time.

New Cateye LED light to replace a 10-year old Cateye light of the more traditional bulb variety, which had faded for the last time.

Just fitted my B&M Cyo light. Took it for a ride down the canal & was amazed at how bright it is.

Add it to my Foska skeleton jacket & 3M spoke reflectors and I should be visible :)

A lumicycle 3-led head unit to go with my old lumicycle system. I've started doing hard evening training rides and my old 12W spot just isn't reaching far enough for the speeds I do on the back lanes out of town.

A spoke head punch.
A nipple driver.

I am hoping to build a wheel when this stuff arrives.

A mounting bracket for the dyno-light for my commuter as well as brake/gear cables and bar tape for the Ribble.

A big  for SJS Cycles' customer service bods.  The website wouldn't accept a City postcode so I rang them.  The person I spoke to took contact details then someone rang me back to take my order.  That's service. :)

Nicked my mum's helmet. Don't suppose that counts though.

(Appear to have lost mine somewhere in my house, and riding the South Manchester hillclimb/freewheel tomorrow.  Ex who has my other one failed to deliver today, so I offered to go helmet-less as a one-off, but even at 23 I'm still under her thumb and told I have to wear one...)

Where did you order them from?

I still haven't received the ones I ordered in August. I'm beginning to think Flatus wasn't joking when he said they're picky about who they sell them to.

We went into Life Cycles in Bildeston and bought some foam to replace the terribly tatty bar tape on Mrs. Wow's stoker bars.

As I mentioned, if it proves useful, you can get metre lengths of the stuff from Rose:

Isopropyl alcohol is my seekrit magic lubricant for getting the things on and off.  I believe hairspray works similarly well, and to a much lesser extent, soapy water.  Alcohol type stuff has the distinct advantage of not leaving a residue that will turn back into a lubricant when it rains.

Yes, but who'd use it to fit bar tape?
