I got my delivery from Urban Hunter today, which had a Fabric Horse Lock Holster, an R.E. Load ProTool/Organiser Roll, and a pot of Chain-L No 5, which was worth it just for the name!

The Tool Roll looks promising, similar to a traditional leather tool roll, but made from more modern, cow friendly material.  It looks like it should fill up with tools a treat, and should hopefully stop the substantial holes that some tools seem to manage to put in everything else I've used to carry tools!
Actually, it is rocket science.

Every girl should have bike knickers.
Shame they're rubbish for cycling in.

A 22-tooth sprocket for my SA 5-speed hub so I can get a lower low gear.  The old one was 20-tooth so it'll only be 10% or so lower.  I'm not sure if I'll notice the difference but it was only £2.99 so I thought worth a punt.

My Assos winter socks arrived  ;D  Still haven't ordered any winter shoes as cannot find any womens MTB warm ones at all grrrrrr.

Also have some new winter gloves, I was after a gel padded and yet warm and waterproof kind and these look good but were no reviews yet so I think I am a guinea pig  BBB Ladyshield Womens Winter Gloves BWG13 | Buy Online | ChainReactionCycles.com

I got a cannister of gas for the 3amses on the York-Whitby ride tomorrow.  Also a new pair of mitts, which aren't the sort I'd usually wear, but they didn't have any stock of those in my size.  I'll see how they go.  I may wear them on the Whitby run as well, since I won't have any particular costume, but I can at least wear largely black stuff, for a proper goth cyclist look (ie black tights, black baggy trousers, black yacf jersey, black mitts).  None of my cycling shoes are black unfortunately, darkish brown will have to be good enough!

Pair of shimano MW80 winter boots. IME overshoes are a PITA, so I hope these will reduce need for same. Didn't actually buy them today, were delivered (to work) yesterday & I picked them up  today as was out yesterday.  No LBS had them or suitable alternative in stock in right size, nor any clear idea of when or indeed whether, they would, so had to use interweb. Cheaper too, for that matter..

If it's any consolation I bought one a few weeks ago not realising they won't work with a forward facing horizontal dropout.  ::-)

What I suspect to be the last pair of size XL Pearl Izumi Sugar knickers on the planet arrived this morning by FedEx.  This is a very, very good thing.

Today's purchase is in five pieces in the car. Dez is driving and has the pleasure of the M25 at rush hour. We are returning from a quick visit to the delightful Volio Towers and I am now the proud owner of a tricycle.

My winter project is to learn how to ride it in a direction of my choosing. The aim is to ride it on the First WARTY in Spring.

I went to the lbs today to buy a smaller set of toe-clips and walked out with two new spd pedals, a new pair of shoes on my feet and a considerably lighter wallet.

A power widget for my car GPS, which I claim is cycling stuff since I use the car to move the bike around mostly!
