Just read a bit more, apparently James O'Brien made some trenchant comments after her "final solution" tweet calling her "a monstrous self publicist". At least someone at LBC has stood up to her.

Getting fired by LBC for offensive remarks takes some doing.

Her offensive remarks are precisely why the employed her.

Anyone with actual morals wouldn't employ her. She's "click-bait", she knows it and so do the people who sell advertising on Radio, TV and Newspapers.

The only thing you can do is to boycott. Reducing "clicks" will end her career. This new controversy will most likely increase her advertising potential.

Simply discussing her on YACF will most likely result in raising her earning potential via some Google Marketing algorithm.

I am sitting here feeling insufferably smug, because having willingly foregone what can only laughingly be described as popular "entertainment" this last several years, nay decades, and likewise "social" media (anti-social surely?) my psyche has not been irretrievably tainted by exposure to what sounds like a thoroughly horrible individual whose name I know only because of YACF.

I'm thinking of formally naming this policy of ignoring such "entertainments" as, "The Wowbagger Doctrine" in homage to both our greatest living "popular culture" refusenik and the isolationist elements of the Monroe Doctrine.

Joking apart, from what I've picked over the last few days I am _really_ glad that I've not seen her or any of her work.
