I really enjoyed the adaptation. For me the whole experience was rather "Proustian" in itself as it brought memories flooding back from when I avidly read it many years ago.

My only disappointment was the music used to represent the special figure heard at Mme Verdurain's wasn't what I imagined, but having said that the liberal use of Ravel's Quator (one of my favourites) fitted perfectly.
