I'll wave at you from afar...

I was wondering about that.  If myself and Mrs Rob popped out for dinner to our (almost) local...

But then I thought we’d be taking the piss.

Generally going forward I’m going to struggle with Wednesday nights as my office days for the foreseeable future are going to be Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As it looks like The Spiritual Home will be over subscribed I’m happy to form a group going to The King Billy, that way Mr & Mrs rob, josser and potentially Yet Another Nick can go there.

I have removed myself from the Compasses list and am starting a second list for the King Billy.  I have just messaged them asking for an inside table of 6 from 2000hrs onwards, their last orders is 2130hrs.   If they can't fit us in I will try to find an alternative...

In other news The Oddy (Odd One Out, Mersea Road, Colchester) has just posted photos on Facebook of their marquee.  The Oddy is a favourite pub of mine and where 'fandango made his infamous first impression.  I think they've recently done it up so hopefully it isn't ruined - shall we go soon?

I have booked a table for MEMWNS at 8pm by the piano. Please remember the hard close at 10pm in order for you to get to the supermarkets for more booze before they shut. Thanks

Evening soggyness looks conducive to not too long a route later, so may well arrive closer to 8pm than 8:30

ETA: two of the Witham peloton have communicated to decide on a 7:15 departure from the usual launchpad for a direct-ish route to the Spiritual Home.

Agreed - will try and get there for a similar time and grab something to eat on arrival. Will try to avoid speaking in last meeting of the day to try and speed things up.

I can't believe that, even given the farting about round Great Notley, you didn't include Pickpocket Lane in the approach to the pub.
