PC software compatibility with a Wahoo Kickr Core trainer

I have the opportunity to set the turbo up for the upcoming winter linked to an Intel nuc windows pc. 

A quick look on the internet at he Wahoo site left me not significantly better informed so I thought that I would ask if anybody here runs a similar Wahoo turbo using a windows pc and which software they use for it please?

wahoo have their wahoo-x training app, but there are many other compatible indoor training apps, depending on personal objectives/preferences. some are free and most have free trial periods.

We have a Wahoo of some kind. We use it with a tablet. I use Zwift, and Mr fimm sometimes uses Zwift and sometimes another of the various apps out there (I'm failing to remember any names right now!)
