"Ah, Exeter. Last time I went through Exeter there were road works and I had to take the B2455 instead of the low road, and the trouble was that I was in the lee of the Cathedral and so my GPS (which was an early model Garmin, a Etrixks 50, they were quite good but suffered from poor battery life, I could only get round a 200 on the batteries if I hammered it and bounced most of the controls, no loo stops for me on that GPS!) struggled to find my location, so I has to move out of the shadow of the tower and see if I could get a signal to find out if I should have taken the third right instead of the second right, or maybe gone right, left, right and got back onto the low road (I call it that because it is mostly lower than the other roads in the area), although I did go wrong about three years earlier and find a lower road than that which, as I'm sure you will imagine was quite a surprise..."
