L Carnitine
« on: 12 November, 2010, 04:21:44 pm »
I got a advertisment/flyer through the post from a supplement company the other day

I glanced through the blurb before binning it and saw that they made the claim that training and other exercise "uses up" lots of L Carnitine so supplementation was important.  A couch potato, they said, needed no extra L Carnitine but training hard does

Any comments on this claim?  I've never read any evidence for L Carnitine being like this.

...from a supplement company ...

There's your clue.

Any comment on an advert from a supplements company?  It's 99.65% bollocks.  Scientifically proven.
