Title: RRTY and timings...
Post by: nuttycyclist on 17 May, 2009, 03:45:04 am
If a ride spreads across month end, which month does it count towards?

For example, if the month end is Sunday, and I ride a 200K starting Sunday 31st May 2009 and finishing in the small hours of Monday 1st June 2009, can I count it as the month of June's ride?

Not sure if this helps, and you've probably read it already:

"If I ride a 600 starting in one month and finishing in the next, in which month does it counts for RRTY?

I suppose it's possible to start on, say, the 31st August and finish it on 1st September. This could count in either month, but not both. You should have ridden at least 200km on the day for which you are making the claim."

There's no hard and fast rule about this but if the majority of a 200 is in May, it's a May ride.  You would need to finish about 6am on the 1st to convince me to count it as a June ride.
