It's finally happened!

I have been off the bike over a week now with a combination of minor ailments not really worth whingeing about (despite this thread) and the return of an achilles problem.

Anyway the point of the thread - have had this sore throat for some weeks and now have a deeper voice - so finally, after all this time maybe my voice has broken? 

I'm 38...

My balding, bearded brother is able to sing high alto with his 5 kids. He is 47. What hope is there for him? 
(His two sons' voices are much deeper than his. So is his wife's...)
