"Tubigrip Revelation" is the band name that life has suggested to me this week.

And what's the name of their difficult 2nd album?
"The Woman Who Couldn't Fly"?
-
;D and
How about "My foot went a little bit yellow, but it's not too bad now".
-
Wait. No. That's obviously the title of a song out of Nashville.
-
"Stairway to Heaven" or has that been done ?
-
Down Down?
-
Technicolour Fetlock ?

Walk on, bye

I genuinely have no idea what this is all about - has there been some horseplay in Nikkkki's life? ???
However, I think The Eagulls is the best band name I've heard in quite a few months. (Haven't decided if I like their music, but that's secondary, innit?)

It was intended as a repository for those not-actually-band-names-but-word-combinations-that-bubble-up-and-really-should-be-band-names (or album titles) that crop up in day-to-day life, however it seems to have become something of an homage to my borked ankle (https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=31801.msg1672824#msg1672824).
Fußgelenke would do some serious electronic instrumentation, I reckon.
-
My desktop suggests the band "Modern English Usage" and their second album "Punktuation"
-
If I formed a band it would be called Faecal Matter and the first album would be eponymous and therefore perfectly describing the music.
-
Band: Population Paste. Difficult second album: Sloppy Seconds.

For iffy album names you can't beat this lot (http://www.discogs.com/artist/75594-Smell-Quim)
-
''Bastards Trained By Bastards'. Looking into albums.
-
The Unbattened Hatches with their album 'Hail in my Kitchen'.
-
Sofa Retribution with 'Pennies Down the Back'
-
Accidentally in Bridgenorth with 'Anywhere there's fish?'
(From a conversation about cormorants, and yes, I know about the e)
-
Legal Fictions with 'The Unborn Widow,' closely followed by 'Fertile Octogenarian'
-
A thread worth resurrecting. This one still makes me smile:
The Unbattened Hatches with their album 'Hail in my Kitchen'.
-
The "May- bees" with their (S) Hit Album, "It's only make believe"
-
Dead Man's Knob (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-43873058) with the follow-up album Intimacy After Injury
-
Gary and the Gravediggers: "Exhumed"
-
Band: Holy Moly
Difficult Second Album: The Critical Smidge

Why are Terminal Moraine not in this thread? The difficult second album "400ppm" prompted them to pursue solo careers.

This reminds me of the brief internet craze of several years ago for creating fictional album covers using random image searches and wikipedia articles.
A bit of googling turned up this, which explains the rules in a bit more detail:

From our Flickr feed it looks like we did something like this in 2009ish.

We used to have such an album covers thread here, or maybe acf... haven't been able to find it tho.

Props to the Indy for not claiming in their headline that the game “is taking the internet by storm”. Come the Democratic Ruthless Bastards takeover anyone using that wretched phrase will be summarily flung off the Great Orme with a trebuchet.

A man in Bangor has a trebuchet....

Yes, but is that the band, or the second album?

Nice. 50:50 split?

Can someone come up with a band name to record these two albums:
(in bOld)

(and yes of course "Trebuchet" already exist - you'll need to be more original than that!!!)
-
Brian Eno's “Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy)” would have been called “Taking The Internet (By Storm)” if there'd been a the Internet in 1974. Brian Eno, however, would still have been called Brian Eno, with or without a trebuchet.
Above may contain traces of Lie.

How about I get 80% of the royalties and you get what's left from that after expenses plus a bowl of M&Ms, with all the brown ones removed?

Hmm. I can see the third album being called Hard Bargain.
