I'm a 50/50 for tonight. Dealing with an ingrown toenail and bastard of an infection resulting in a lot of pain. Might save the manning up for Sunday!

I'm not available tonight. Pity, as the Monkey is a good destination.

Next week I'm looking doubtful, unless the wind picks up to a strong southerly wind until Tuesday, and then becomes a strong northerly just as I make the turn at Edinburgh. Or unless we change the venue to somewhere like Pocklington ...

Um pass route wise. I'm gonna turn up and if I'm not the only member of the Witham peleton make something up.

We did this route last time - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/23541211
It was quite a nice route that got us to the Monkey for 9pm, may as well do it again if there are no other offers.

If you want to join us at the General's Arms as usual we'll probably be there between 8:10 to 8:15 on account of riding slightly further there  ::-)

There will be a MEMWNS pub stop every so often on the route, I guess?? Perhaps wait until we're headed back though?

I may just need to keep up then on those flat bits heading north, until the hills slow you lot down to my speed. Can't be missing any 'additional' control stops on the way back.

I was thinking first of all of a 'sundowner' on Monday evening before stopping...wherever, up north.

Come over to Great Easton and help !

To purify our misfit ways

Any thoughts on destination.

If there is sufficient apathy I'm quite happy to stay home and dry the kit out that is about to get wet on the way home.

I was thinking of Compasses Great Totham but seems a little hair shirt just two people slowly drowning.

I'll be staying in tonight. One tube to fix from tonight's commute, plus chain that needs lubricant other than water.
And maintenance necessary on another couple of bikes.

I don't know, a few of us go on a hard cycle tour and it all falls apart back at the ranch!  ;D
