Started around 7am here in Farnham this morning, drifting around in low winds and settling

Buggerall here at the moment. Met office seem to have revised downwards today’s precipitation. They are still adamant about tonight though.

Just started in Stafford. Its very light but is settling

It looks like today will be fun in town traffic wise what with the snow and the fact that the M6 is closed due to a serious accident.

Me: I am off with the flu so I am going back to bed after feeding the squirrels.

No trains for the rest of the week IN CASE it snows.

I would say the country was going to the dogs but we can't actually get there!

Needless to say not a flake so far.

Have checked pressure in the Nokian W106 tyres.  They're good for snow or hard ice.

On Friday I am supposed to pick up a new car with pimpy 19" wheels and low profile summer tyres.  I have 17" wheels and winter tyres for it but they're in my garage.  At least it's FWD and it's a flat run home!

If that’s the Mazda6, have fun!  I had 18” low profiles  on mine and it was THE worst car in snow I’ve ever driven. So bad that one day I turned round and came home again rather than press on to work.

I hope the trains are running, I'm on my way to Maidstone for a funeral and hope to get home tonight...

Just started here - big fluffy things.  20m S of Chester.  Very grey over towards the E.  Hope it doesn't come to much - I've a sax lesson in Chester this evening!

No, Cambridge has no snow. We haven't seen any at all. This Daily Express panic weather forecasting is getting really irritating.

Must be right on the edge here. So far this morning it's gone:

Bit of a dusting.
Blue skies.
Heavy snow.
Blue skies.
Blizzard.
Blue skies.
Light snow.
Blue skies.
Blizzard.
Blue skies.
Currently back to light snow...
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

Chester is a bit cloudy at the moment but no snow yet.

Beautiful sunny day here.  But bloody cold.  A quick ride to the (not very) supermarket this morning was a bit of a wakener.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

I have a chum who used to ride up to the 1000-metre Champ du Feu in -10°C. That was 5 stents ago, though.

David saw some flurries of SNO  earlier though I did not.
The sun is shining, the patio is dry, it's well above freezing and humidity is low.

Lubbly jubbly here.

Currently -5ºC, blue skies, and a stiff Easterly breeze. Fresh!

-3°C at 4 pm, humidity at 30%, greying over with the odd tiny flake. Nothing forecast before Thurs night, and then going over into rain just in time to make merry Hell of the rush hour.  I shall be asleep. ;D

I was panic buying purely because I needed a bulk shopping trip in the next week or so anyway, and if I did it now while the roads are dry, I could do it without exposing the trike to salty slush.  It hadn't occurred to me that everyone else would have done the same, and Tescos was looking a bit sparse.

There was a decent, if short-lived, blizzard at one point.  Nothing settling though and it's gone back to being sunny.

There have been flurries of snow here in Kent and it is bitterly cold but the trains are running on time.
