Yes Mike. Put me down for entertainment. I'll have a small janx spirit in the corner. I may sing, quietly...
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

No sorry - I have arranged an Epic Sisters trip that clashes with this - Di is joining up with the dynamic duo. I do however plan to join you in September.
Have a spiffing time.

I think I originally said I would be interested in this, and I still am. I will have to do some diary-wrangling and see whether it's feasible though. A decent tour with the Long Itch brigade is a very tempting prospect.

I'm hoping - subject alas to the usual family constraints - to make it to Long Itch, if only for the Saturday. I would have no problems chipping in for the evening's entertainment.

Maybe the one in May.
I'm hopping to set out early April for the coast and then head north.
But I could do loop for ~4 weeks to get to Long Itch early May.
Join you to the coast then head north towards Scotland.

I like C&CC sites as they are known standard and price.
C&CC sites to the coast and distances between are Milton Keynes (40 miles), St Neotts (35 miles), Cambridge (25 miles), Thetford Forest (45 miles), Kessingland (45 miles).

We're in for May and for September.

One of us probably for entertainment - the other will be Iris-wrangling, unless the entertainment is Mr Tumble, in which case we'll have three tickets.

No charge for Iris and she would be most welcome.

That's why I was thinking C&CC main sites.
They will probability be sub £10 per night, looks like £8-10 for non-members bike-packering.

How do you expect to get between sites with tents etc.with Apollo Chris?

Note:  This is a genuine query.

13 miles from Rugby.  Nearest station is Leamington Spa.

How do you know the distances are moderate?  I haven't chosen a route and sites yet.   :D

Good plan Chris.   We'll need to chat offline about this.

Or you could put those turbo legs to good use and hang it from Apollo's bike...  :demon:

Just registering interest, not sure I'll be able to do the rides but the camping and paella sound tempting. That said there's a strong chance this may also be the date of a convention I must attend so not a definite sadly.

As this coincides with a potential FNRttC, a local audax and a birthday (yes, that last one's nothing to do with cycling), count me out. I still intend to make it to Suffolk though, even if it has to involve trains.

I'd love to join in the fun too, I dont think I can do the whole week but perhaps could intercept in Fenland and join you across to the county of the gods.

We will have traversed Northamptonshire before reaching the Fens and beyond.   :D

You know that isn't the way to get to Yorkshire, right?
