Upgrading timing chain to Gates belt

Anyone have experience DIYing this? we have Gates on the Paketa so thought it time to convert the Santana over too. (The chain was stretching and got a lot a creaking in there so it all needs some overhaul work so thought it time to do it)
Any tips?
I've ordered the rings and the belt. Hopefully correct sizes
Co-motion website said the old chainring bolts will work,
http://www.precisiontandems.com/cat_pics/beltdrive_comotion.htm
says I'll need slightly longer ones. I've not ordered any, thought I'd get the other bits in first then I'll know for sure.

I looked into it but there are only two lengths of belt to fit standard American bottom tube lengths. So didn't go any further with it.

I can have a look at our bolts when I am home (on FSA Gossamer cranks).
I seem to recall a line item on the bill for special bolts (I still shudder a little when I think of that bill!).

Right! What's next?
Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea. I am in!
