Not sure if there are any photos but back in about 2010 on a FNRttC we had a rim failure where the hook wouldn't hold the tire bead in south London. Fortunately we were only 1 mile from one of the TECs houses and he went home for a spare front wheel. It was only once this was fitted that anyone thought about what we would do with the duff wheel. After momentarily considering secreting it in a front guarden, 1 minute later it was secured to my low rider front carrier with three toe straps*, and we proceeded to Brighton where the wheels were returned to their rightful owners and we all headed for the trains home.


* Yes I normally have a couple of 'spares' on the top of my saddle bag securing things like a cape and a D lock.
