Edit: Heading from MarmiteGeoff's area towards Jim Hopper's.

Either way, let's hope that road is free from ice.

While its rather chilly around here (Steve is six miles north of my manor at the moment), thankfully there is no ice. He is also sticking to the main A51 it seems which should have been warmed nicely by traffic.

Any ideas where he is heading today?

Didn't he?  It looked to me as if he tarried there a while.

The A roads and main drags around our neck of the woods were fine yesterday  - it was only when you tried to go off the beaten track that it got a little, errr,  interesting...

Looks like Steve is getting the miles in again today - nice day for it.  Wonder what the wind is like? I'm sat inside procrastinating about report writing and would much rather be on the bike like Steve.
Does not play well with others

I got my report written - or at least the front half of it.   :smug:  But would rather be on the bike.  Especially as it looks like other commitments will keep me off the bike at the weekend.

TG seems to have settled into an excellent rhythm.  Could imagine doing 300km/day for five days and possibly ten, but not 35 and not in the cold.

Yes. I was just looking at his schedule. And although always flexible never rigid, February was always going to be a slightly higher average than January. So maybe he's just upping things just a notch as he goes into the next month.

edit: Strava up: 200miles.

Motivation.  I don't allow myself to look until I've written the next section.

Back on topic.  Awesome day from Steve today.  Does look like he's getting used to the daily miles and starting to extend his distance as he intended.
