Artificial landscapes by Matthew Albanese

Searching inspiration for a future project, I came across these landscapes by Matthew Albanese, completely artificial yet very realistic. Key materials include spices, tile grout and sugar.

Has anyone seen anything similar?

When I was a student, the inside of the freezer compartment of our fridge was a dead ringer for Antarctica. If I'd thought to stick a few Penguins in there, it might have been art rather than a health hazard.
