Funnily enough....... Extremely rarely. Thing is, well its a bit like my relationships really. I never go out looking, but things / people just sort of appear / catch my eye, and that's how it works. I have always been XTREEMLY observant.

Ps bit OT ,but we could always have a 'Top Totty, what I saw on a ride today!'

I found (well, evaded) a steel tape measure that had recently been run over and gone SPROING!. They're a bit scary when you're on a bike.

They look dark, but they are quite a bright vibrant blue, and not scratched. just looked them up, O'neil 105 Barrell approx £50 inc p+p.

. Not even sunny today.

I think that I'm observant too, the main difference with what you find and what I find is that your stuff is always in good nick. Where mine tend to at least have had one lorry over it before I find it.

My old stomping ground, those back roads. Grew up and learned to drive a car very badly around there. I think I explored some 'parking areas' with young female aqcuaintances as well.....

riding along the river bank of that Thames, and spotted loads of glass, all broken up, then a bit further on a section of bank had collapsed,an a host of victorian bottles and jars were scattered about. Some broken, many not. Obviously a waterside rubbish tip from that London via Thames barges. Anyway they scrubbed up nicely, ( picture before cleaning) 1bottle, 1 Hartley jar, and 2 Golden Shred jars. Even managed to get them back without breaking them in the Carradice.
