Baggy plaster cast
« on: 24 February, 2012, 06:23:43 pm »
Two weeks ago whilst pratting around I leaped in the air and came down on the side of my foot, a visit to A&E the next morning revealed I'd broke an extra bone I have in my foot. Apparently this is not a problem as it looks like I've broke the a number of times and not noticed.

The major concern was soft tissue damage so they stuck a slipper cast on it, the swelling has reduced to such an extent now that the cast is very loose now to the extent that I'm having to pack it with cotton wool and can very nearly slip it off. I can now weight bear without discomfort.

So is the cast now really doing anything? Other than peeing me off. Will it do any harm to take it off? Its supposed to be on for another 2 weeks  :(

It is simpler than it looks.
