All riders on the Hailsham Liss 200 should have recently received 2 emails from me.

The first is detailing the start slots and the second is the final version of Welcome Letter, Routesheet and GPX tracks. The Welcome letter details the COVID restriction rules we need to follow.

If any riders are missing such emails please check your spam folder and then let me know if still missing.

Rode the 300 with John NOTP; cracking route as always didn't need to put another layer on until after the last control and even then it was balmy in Lewes!. Anton's 212k control absolutely hit the spot! the diversion near Midhurst was a welcome extra 6k.

Thanks Again A & S

Enjoyed the 200. Some cracking scenery, especially the return leg, which had superb views of the South Downs. Beans on toast at the Rogate village hall control was an unexpected bonus! Good organisation, the staggered start and distancing at the control worked well. Thanks Anton

Thanks Anton, brilliantly organised and superb catering. Audax doesn't get much better than this.

All the catering is down to Mrs B, like on all my events, who provides a lot of homemade cooking (cakes 😃). The carrot cake appeared to be the favourite yet again.

When the 300 calendar event was planned a few years ago the intention was always to ensure riders got well fed before their final 100k push to the finish.

This years (well it would have been last year but we all know why it never happened) inclusion of a 200 provided a feed halfway round.

Next year looking to run these on June 11th in order to avoid booking conflicts with the Platinum Jubilee.

A reminder for all riders to send me their Brevetcards and Proof of  Passage ASAP so I can validate etc.

Ahem. IMHO anyone reading this will have absolutely no hesitation when faced with a choice between the two. Gimme an Anton Audax any time.
Besides, it wouldn't be audacious if success were guaranteed.

Great event Anton, and loved the feed stop, perfect for the final run home. Guessing Shell didn't keep you waiting to long, as said he is a class act. Caught us at the 2nd last garage control too. Legend

He was also some 2 hrs late leaving Hailsham stopped to take photos and from what I read ended up going down the A23 towards Brighton following a GPS unit freeze but still finished in time

Riders on the Hailsham Venta who sent their Brevetcards with a SAE for validation, should be receiving them back shortly
