Sun ez3 stolen
« on: 14 May, 2021, 09:51:46 pm »
From the outside of the local tescos wexham Road slough approximately 5pm .children were seen riding it on the  nearby frithe Road shortly after but there have been no further sightings. The police have been informed but I am not expecting a lot of help from their response so far.
If anyone around slough area sees it please let me and the police know.

The wife was using it. I was in Windsor at the time. Apparently the tesco security guard at tesco saw the kids playing with it after liz had left it and watched them ride off on it  :o

Really sorry to hear this, I hope you get it back. Was it locked up?
I worked in Slough for many years and I wouldn't even chance leaving my Penny Farthing with two locks on it, seems to be a Mecca for thieving S**T heads
Take care,

Bar stewards. Hopefully they will get bored without damaging it. Then someone will recognise and report it in.

Are there any watercourses nearby?  That's where I'd look, kids being the little shits that they are.   Not that a brief immersion in a canal is a problem for a handy mechanic.

While riding along the slough arm of the gu canal looking for the sun. I met a group of cyclists on a ride from Twickenham. One of their number was fixing a puncher .I took the opportunity of telling them about the missing trike and showed them the picture. I rode on and about 10mins one of their number caught me and told me that they had seen the trike being ridden by a boy in a park by the canal. They identified the house the boy went into allowing me to recover the trike. One  stayed behind me to make sure that the trike towed home. I then rode over to Windsor to reunite him with his group. Me and liz are both really grateful to all of the  cycling group who disrupted their ride to help us. I have a terrible memory for names but should they read many heartfelt thanks again  :) .the sun is undamaged from it's little adventure  :)

Excellent news and that group of cyclists deserve a big thank you. For once, a puncture was good! It also sounds like you were able to recover the trike from the house without too much difficulty, which, if true, is also good.
