One of good things about having Christmas today instead the cancelled one in December is that we don't have to hear all the crap crimble music.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Mrs M always saves  a Christmas pudding for our birthdays in mid-June. So, this is a bit premature.

A minor local Z-lister is "Mr Christmas", for whom every day is Christmas.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Park_(Mr._Christmas)

Predictably, he became a reet fat bastad (as they say up north) at one point and was given a dire warning by his GP to cut down on the size of his 365 annual turkey dinners.

It's Christmas eve!  The fecking huge turkey came out of the freezer  on Wednesday.  Mrs B and I have prepped pigs in blankets, vodka margarine brandy butter, bread sauce. The dog is wearing antlers.   The kids and DiL have arrived.
Tomorrow is Christmas.  Hurrah.
Merry Christmas everyone.

We have crackers and everything.  Couldn't find brandy butter or mince pies in the shops. The butter was simple to make but neither of us could be bottomed to make the pies.

That delightful Slade 'song' was playing in the background when I was alerted to the Yorkshire pub..

We decided to forego the joys of Xmas Pud, being too stuffed with other festive delicacies to contemplate anything more strenuous than snoozing for much of the pip emma.

I've just cooked the 12lb lump of pork that I got for Chrimbo. I'll now have to rummage in the freezer for pigs in blankets. All just cos we're entertaining one other person. There may be leftovers.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

Lessee... it's about 4° or 1/90 of the Earth's circumference & Daddy Xmas has 31 hours* to get all the way round... a bit under 21 minutes.
