Enjoy, Peli!

We are off to my bro's for lunch. I was going to cycle but it's very icy and not expected to get above freezing. ICBA.

I have been out with the dog. It's quite treacherous under foot. Even on the grass, the snow has part-melted and refrozen to a sheet of ice nearly an inch thick and divoted with footprints. Beatuiful day, though. Might get another stroll in this afternoon from my bro's place. His garden has a gate leading straight into the fields.

Dez has a thing called an arduino. It's a sort of flashing-light geek kit. He seems to be quite absorbed by it.

A wish for happiness and harmony for all today.

Just off to stepson no. 2's for a couple of days relaxing.  Hopefully stepson no.1 and partner will arrive in timely fashion so as to avoid stressing no. 2  :)

xkcd: Circuit Diagram has a reference to the Arduino.

Do I admit that I understand many other references in that cartoon?

It's Christmas eve!  The fecking huge turkey came out of the freezer  on Wednesday.  Mrs B and I have prepped pigs in blankets, vodka margarine brandy butter, bread sauce. The dog is wearing antlers.   The kids and DiL have arrived.
Tomorrow is Christmas.  Hurrah.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.
