I watched the first episode yesterday. I thought it jumped around a bit and lacked some cohesion, but very interesting nonetheless.

I learned some new stuff too. Such as; what a TV Pickup is. Nothing to do with guitars, and unconnected with anything Hummers gets up to behind Kings Cross station on a Saturday night - it is instead, the power surge required when 1.75 million kettles get turned on after Eastenders; a uniquely British thing apparently.

A good watch I thought, and unmarred [sic] by being presented, apparently, by a Goblin.

I thought it was quite good, but towards the end it began to feel like one of those 1980s Edukashional Fillums that we got subjected to every week when I was in year three.

That looks fabulous!

It's just a shame that Andrew Marr was chosen to present it.  I mean, why?

I liked it, I also liked those Edukashional Fillums lol, especially the History re-enactments.
