I'm sure many of us will have a few pairs of Tracksters in our kit stash.   Don't think I'd fit into mine these days.

I have a pair of Ronhill ¾-length shorts mouldering away somewhere. Didn't really get on with them - the pad creased up and the cloth made me itch.

RIP Ron.  A great athlete and astute businessman.

I have a pair of the water-repellent Bikesters - still going strong, probably 15 years old . . .  although I confess I don't wear them very often

Two pairs of tracksters. (So I have something to wear, while one pair is in the wash. After all, it isn't like I'll wear a pair out, is it?)

Ron Hill, legend runner, excellent textile designer. Function over fashion.

Had a pair of Tracksters - the only garment that I've ever had that was cooler on than off. Getting a bit nippy for shrts - don Tracksters and freeze!

In the eighties and nineties Rons were the archetypal non-trackie trackie bottoms. When I peel myself out of my run kit I shall loaf about the house in Rons.

I wore Tracksters on Bernie's Long Flat One (600km). I certainly didn't overheat. This was overnight in early July. That was OK.
