Someone should have said when I was ordering. Mine has left Barcelona apparently. Excited to try something new for a change...

I am going to place an order with them. So if any of you who already have ordered want a refer a friend voucher DM me and I'll give you my Email address.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Same here, I reckon I can get a couple of orders in before the end of the year (a mixed taster order and then stock up on the preferred results). Send me a message if you want my email for "refer a friend"

Our Christmas wine has arrived.

We’ve had to taste it....

Still waiting here, seems to have left Barcelona two days ago (Why Barc?) I am hoping to get another order in before the end of the year. They are providing short delivery dates for some wines.

I got no update between it leaving Barcelona and turning up at my doorstep a few days later.

Being suitably impressed I snuck another quick order in  for delivery in  the middle of December. Probably the last chance to do so.

We tried a pink port last winter. Not terribly impressed. Rather sweeter than we like.

Has anybody discovered any great new wines in their recent purchases?

I bought Monte Baixo Vinho Verde White 2019. I wouldn't particularly particularly recommend it, it's not subtle, but at €2.65 a bottle it's drinkable (just).
Tonight we are on Cadão Red 2018 which is not as fulsome and fruity as Cotes du Rhone but it's very drinkable and at €3.25 beggars can't be choosers. Would have again.
Will report when I've tried the others,

Nothing great in there but all reasonable and quite drinkable at good prices. Some has been used for cooking.  I have yet to find a great wine at affordable price levels and having lived sur le continent I have tried lots of em via Delhaize, direct from the Vinyard and other 'upmarket' supermarche. French friends however always seem to turn up to meetings with bottled nectar. German wines are good fun and inexpensive (or they were then). Pure serendipity but Aldi have a 2018 Dao in stock atm and it is really very good, being silky smooth at £5.99 a bottle. I have some Dao 2017 and Porta 6 on order. We will see. This is fun.

Note: A few years ago we asked a local wine merchant for his suggestion at a tenner a bottle. It was vinaigrette crap, appallingly bad. We have never been back since.

We haven't supped it all, though we are trying our best. I wanted to get a delivery in before Christmas. The Brexit curtain is about to descend but otherwise I would seriously consider their top Portugese 'cru' wines offer of 6 bottles normally costing more than 20 euros ea. for £100, to store for a special occasion.

3 cases just arrived.  I'm glad I bought that stair climbing shopping trolley , you can take the bag off & use it as a little flatbed.  Better than carrying the stuff up to the 4th floor...

Tonight (yes I know it's a school night but Pingu is off) we are on Fafide Duoro Reserva Tinto 2019.
Again, despite Vivino users scoring it as 'bold' it's nowhere near as bold as a CDR but again very quaffable. Bit bo.der than the Cadao we had last night. This is the most expensive of the selection I bought, at 4.95 Euro a bottle.

Tonights meal was cold roast beef (food parcel from my mother), Lyonnaise potatoes and carrots.  The crate of Cadao was breached & it's certainly drinkable.  I wouldn't rave over it but for the price you can't complain.

Yay my wine arrived today.

Tried two so far out of my selection that were very nice.
Then we have the Tr3s Castas red.

I opened one bottle and then chucked it as I thought it was corked. Second bottle is just the same. Has a slightly fizzy mouth feeling.
Anyone else tried this one ? Its only 10% proof.

Its a Vinho Verde. Are the reds supposed to be slightly sparking? Sparkling red is a new idea to me.
