The looping camera is a great idea, which is why the police use them.  Pity it's rear-facing when most crashes come from turn-across type incidents: more "rear view mirror" nonsense there.  Designers just love complicating things by adding carstuff.  Do the hat-cams we are wearing now do this ten-minute loop thing?

I already have that brake lever setup with moustache bars and reversed Cane Creek aero levers.  They're okay, nothing world-changing, and they get caught on everything - snaggy + carbon sounds expensive.

"The brakes are hidden inside the fork legs " - rendered vapour.  Put up or shut up.

"Another unique feature is the cut in the seat tube with a dense elastomer inserted, effectively turning the frame into a giant leaf spring to give the bike a small bit suspension."

...Specialized already do elastomer inserts for their comfort carbons.  Cutting through the whole of the main weight-bearing member sounds like he Did Not Think This Through.

Y'know, the "better control on the shoulders" plus "comfort carbon" plus "aiee, traffic" makes me think this is a bike designed by a 50-something sportive rider.  ;)
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Given we're filed under racing, how useful is the rear facing camera in that context?

A sprinter wouldn't need to check over their shoulder to see the opposition make the jump from their wheel and should spot it sooner making it easier to defend their lead out position. This would surely stuff up the sprinters who don't have strong lead-out trains as they won't be able to take such advantage of a competitor's wheel.

Assuming you have time to check a glared-out jigging-around screen in the middle of High Drama, yes.  I'd say no, for those reasons, but a test should resolve it one way or the other.

I still go with this as MAMIL porn.

Certainly it is MAMIL pr0n, whether it has a practical application is secondary to most of the "features" on the machine.

Slightly less moment of high drama and slightly more extended as an opportunity to keep tabs on the opposition in the rear view mirror would be mountain duels to avoid getting unexpectedly jumped.

lmao at the spokes.

Just doubled the tension on a single spoke. maybe not such a great idea.
