Ba'al and Belphagor relax after a hard day's slaughter on the Central Line:

They are truly creatures that only a pair of mad old cat women could love  :D

Gorgeous kittehs  :D

I'll allow you mad, but you are not allowed to call yourselves "old"!  You are both younger than me, and i don't even feel middle aged yet!  ;D

Do they do the Ant and Dec thing of always sitting the right way around?

Sadly, no  ;D

From left to right, that is in fact Belphagor and Ba'al.  You can tell them apart because if you try to pick one of them up, Belphagor will have your eye out.  Ba'al will probably just inflict a little flesh wound...

Are they related to Charlie?  I only ask, because despite tinkly bells that make him the audio equivalent of Santa's sleigh he's killed three robins, two rats, a mouse, and something grey that was bigger than a blackbird but smaller than a pigeon, since xmas.

That's only the stuff I know about, and one of the rats was hidden - until we found it.

This is how I wake up on cold mornings. Two live hot water bottles, under the duvet. Frequently one on either side of me, but this morning like this. God only knows how I don't crush them to deth when I'm asleep.

This morning, they didn't bother getting up.

... Two live hot water bottles, under the duvet. ...

I think you're mistaking who is the hot water bottle. :)

None of my cats have ever been that keen on getting under the duvet.  Zev will often scrunch herself close up against me, on top of the duvet, in the middle of the night, but is normally gone by the morning.  I suspect she gets annoyed by too much movement coming close to squishing her, and remembers (eventually) that lying on the bed isn't always the brightest move.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Ha!  Awesome photos.

Chilli sleeps on the bed most nights - depending on weather conditions will depend on how annoyingly close to you she chooses to sleep.  Mr Bear only comes to sleep at the very foot of the bed if it's really cold.

Thankfully neither of them get under the duvet though!

Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

Rico likes to get under the duvet too. He has an uncanny ability to take up 3/4 of a super- king sized bed when he lies in linear form!

Room for a couple of (badly shot mobile phone) gratuitous cat videos?

For those who like names and other such details, meet Jess. Five months old and utterly bonkers.

Great videos Dibdib.

Zev still hasn't worked out that it's my legs moving under the duvet, and regularly attacks them.  She's almost two years old now.

Lies!  They're Bed Monsters, and only disguise themselves as legs when you pull the duvet back.  They must be stopped!

Jess is a real cutie dibdib!

Thanks :) she's a rescue mog, a sad story but with a happy ending.

Eagle-eyed viewers of the videos will spot that she only has one back leg. The other was quite deformed with no foot when she was born, and was giving her quite a bit of discomfort meaning she was quite badly behaved. The RSPCA took the rest of the litter for rehoming, and asked the vet to put Jess to sleep; the vet refused and amputated insted, then rehomed her herself which is where I got her. Now the leg isn't bothering her she's much happier, as you can tell, and is now a very spoilt housecat.

Despite having watched both videos, with some amusement, I hadn't noticed that. :-[  ... which is probably a good sign.  Well done on taking her on, not an obvious choice for many people.

I've met three legged cats, even outdoors, so I suspect they are quite capable of being able to live a life as indoors/outdoors cats.  I wouldn't necessarily deprive her of outdoor access, although you may have to think a bit about giving her ways to escape other cats, although that's potentially an issue with any cat.  I'm guessing at her age, she hasn't been spayed and/or fully vaccinated yet, so isn't going to be let outdoors yet anyway.

She does looks to be happy, and like all kittens, somewhat insane. ;D

Not sure if we have had Mikey before, but here he is.

It is simpler than it looks.

I didn't notice the three legs either (had to watch again and when you know, it is obvious.). As TimO said, it is probably a good sign not to notice.  It certainly isn't slowing her down a lot - still running around like a mad thing. She looks like a very amusing cat to have around!

Agreed! My camera struggles to get enough light to get a decent quick action shot of Jess indoors. Hopefully as the weather improves I'll get some good ones.

Mikey's very handsome indeed, too. You don't often see such pure ginger cats. Apparently they are genetically all tabbies IIRC, but obviously there's variation in how distinct the tabby markings are.

That photo give the impression that the leap preceeds the demise of something small and furry/ feathered.

A great pic.
