He looks to me like he is either
A) pissing up the fence
B) doing further scratchy damage to that felt roof!

Felt roofing only lasts about a year in our garden because Kiri and Rico think it makes a good scratching post. I'm looking into plastic tiles to replace it all with this year

As we were getting ready to head out for the afternoon round, my colleague set out on the trike, and then came back to call us to look at this scene he'd found on the edge of the reserve.

Five in all, in some sort of cat spectator sport situation.

As they are all different, I wondered if it was a sort of way of helping a person to choose a cat.

A sort of cat-alogue...

Cats do apparently have these sort of neutral areas, which are not specifically one cats territory (at least not at this time, territory can also depend upon time of day), and where they'll congregate and "interact".  Since sitting quietly, and not moving is particularly friendly behaviour for a cat, this is presumably some sort of meeting, or other social gathering.  Odd to us, but apparently a normal enough cat practice.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Do they use the curtains as ladders? (Thus creating ladders in the curtains)

Has she got white toes on her front paws Jac? Cool!

She does! :D

Princess, now that she has fully settled in with us, is the cutest cat I've ever known. She is also a very easily pleased kitteh - merely sitting next to her on the sofa is enough to start her purring.

I'm not actually sure.  The inkjet chromatography used to be a notice asking people not to park in front of the driveway, so I assume someone's got the builders in, but there's nothing visible from the street (other than unrelated builders at no 6).  Seems to be business as usual at the church, so probably something round the back.
