Some time back, I dismantled Zev Towers because Zev was no longer living in that room exclusively, and I needed it for visitors of the non-feline variety!

I just reassembled some of it, to give Zev a perch where she can sleep and watch the outside world go by, when she doesn't want to go out.

She's slept on it several times since I put it there, so it's obviously a hit. The washing machine and dish washer are just below her, so she does tend to pop her head up, and watch me, when I'm filling or emptying them.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Stupid cat is stupid:

Curls up and goes to sleep in the litter tray with a comfy basket and pillow next to it. Stupid.

Zev has previous for doing that...

She didn't want to leave the security of the bath at that point, and preferred the texture of the litter to that of the bath mat I'd put in just out of shot (which she later decided to pee on).

Yep.  Dafydd did that too, when he first came to us at 9 weeks old.He was called Beryl at the time.  oops.
Daf will be six months old next week and he has an appointment with the vet.  Best we don't tell him what's going to happen, eh?
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Harry is not the least bit self-conscious about sleeping in someone else's house.

Plus, he's caught two mice here this week (and tidied one of the corpses away into the pencil case I use to keep my emery boards and broken nail clippers in).

We need a photo of his nemesis

Boris the Blade always looks like a pretty tough cat.
Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

Remember Beryl?

Well in seven months or so she grew up to be a boy named Dafydd.

You know what they say about cats with big feet?  They have very large tails.  :)

Given that photo I think Lurgi would be a better spelling.
