There are lots of gratuitous cats on Mykonos.

The BBC, knowing they're onto a good thing, have done a extended version of their domestic cat tracking programme from last year.  There are three episodes on iPlayer if you haven't seen the catpr0n already, and some of it is even interesting.

Anyway, I was working my way through the second programme, when they inexplicably cut to a picture of Benedict Cumberbatch:

Of Sherlock fame, last seen doing what's supposed to be a rather good Alan Turing on the big screen.  I've added a reference photo.

Ah, thank you - I generally don't watch BBC1 or go to the movies cinema.

Following the sad demise in January of our elderly cats Tigger and Simba we recently got a couple of rescue kittens.  They are brother and sister Barry and Isabella.  Barry is all black and his sister is mainly black with some white, largely symmetrical markings.

They are about 15 weeks old now and quite a handful.  Isabella has already made inroads into her 9 lives by falling 12 feet down our stairwell onto a hard floor.  Cats of this age are not guaranteed to land on their feet  ::-)

Issy is off down the vets again as she's got a cold that doesn't appear to be clearing up.  These kitties are costing a fortune!  We'll be getting them insured PDQ.

Yes.  Yea, it is.  On a good day it only takes three attempts to get the copy/paste thing to work as advertised.

Oopsie.  When I got Talisker from the Blue Cross, he came complete with a short period of Insurance (a month I think), which was obviously a marketing ploy by the insurance company involved.  Potentially useful nevertheless.

I guess your two came from a less regular source?  Since Zev and Kai were basically courtesy of YACF, I had to do all that independently too, and they immediately cost a small fortune in checks, vaccinations and being spayed and neutered.  Not too many problems since, thankfully.

I hope Issy is getting better, it sounds relatively minor.
Actually, it is rocket science.
