Neighbour's cat and kitten:

They are sitting on an anti-cat fence post top put up by other neighbour to keep cats out.

Thanks, I had no idea if they'd be sharp as the light was going and its a new camera I am getting used to. If I'd got any closer they'd have been off and away.

Bagel (née Mabel) the cat I'm looking after this week, along with her Guinea Pig and Degu colleagues (who are both safely ensconced in cages, away from her paws and teeth!).

That is the only in focus photograph from 48 that I took last night! A totally black cat, and the response time of a phone camera don't help much when trying to get a decent photo.

Unfortunately, the only non-black cat I've needed to photograph, Kai, only deigns to be anywhere near the house about once a month, and rarely when I've got a camera of some sort immediately to hand!

Talisker was entirely black, Zev is about 95% black, and my occasional charge, Bagel, is apparently black except for about eight hairs, which I've yet to spot!

With the mobile phone camera, it works OK if I turn the flash on, but that also needs an entirely stationary cat, which Bagel rarely is!

Round at Granny Annie's, Mavis is doing rather well. Four feet on the table - that was always against the rules. She doesn't seem to care

And she's getting very brave around the dogs!

Cat logic states that if I am not allowed on the table/ sofa/ shelf, wotever, as long as I am on something that is resting on the banned facility I'm roolz compliant.

Also, cats are like parked cars, in that Enforcement can't infer that they've walked across the prohibited area in order to get there, since they may have levitated or quantum tunnelled or something.

This is one of the neighbours cats, who will often say hello to me on my way past to the supermarket.

He may look small and cuddly, but he's slightly larger than Zev and a lot more solid! Zev will sway a bit when you pet her, but he doesn't move in the slightest.
