[Note that most of my Cat photos seem to be on the 'Cat display platform', a sort of wooden deck surrounding a little shed behind my almost as little house. Perfect Cat habitat. Cat should always be capitalized.]

Whilst we are doing cats in nip...

This was 2 summers ago, before I'd realized what extraordinary measures I had to take to protect Fran from the catnip (when he was a barn cat he ignored the wild catnip!). First I tried balancing the catnip-pot on top of a door on a shed:

[/many other variants tried with little or no success throughout the summer - the summer I learned Fran's good with ladders/]

(Later that same summer, after I'd settled upon a hanging pot [and learned not to leave the ladder nearby!] and I brought it down for a supervised feeding)

Unusually, Kai decided that he was willing to be a little friendly. These shots were taken with my Garmin Virb video camera, which is designed to focus on cars and so forth, not cats 5cm from the lens, hence some images are a bit out of focus!

He's very fluffy, and even though he's only a touch heavier than Zev, he looks a lot bigger. The wonders of a long haired vs short haired cat.
