Gorilla glue tire repair.

Couple of horizontal slashes in a new tire (cotton turbo) about 1/2 cm long.
Ive removed the glass and they are holding ok with a tube.
Ive got some gorilla glue in the shed but never used it on a tire repair before. Is it simply a question of squirting some in the nick? Inflated or delated?
TTT tomorrow so a little uneasy.

I've used CA glue, but not on a hole that size. It certainly works on smaller cuts but if it goes all the way through it forms an abrasive patch that erodes the inner tube, so you need to put something thin over it - the wrapper off a Mars bar was one suggestion.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight
