Mine doesn't let me browse the contents of the sub folders. I can see the title of the folder, followed by three dots, and that's it. I suspect it's borked. Or user error.

OTOH, mine doesn't drain the battery when it's switched off.

I get subfolders working on mine... when I remember how to.

Mine also drains the battery when it's switched off - but very slowly.  Remove the battery if it's not going to be used for a long while.

I use rechargeables and have a cheapo charger at work. It means I can keep the rear light batteries and mp3 player battery topped up.

That natty little player was covered here a while back.   To date it has proved to be a very good purchase.

Buttons and switches:   Took me a while to figure it out but second nature now.

Screen:   Totally naff but I don't generally use a screen so of no consequence.

Battery life:  I'm using rechargeables so don't have any issues.

Interface:   Simply plug and play.   Faultless

Build quality:   Initial impressions were that it seems a bit flimsy but it has been fine.   It's no iPod but then it cost almost a tenth of the price of one with equivalent capacity.

Radio?  I haven't tried it.   I'll give it a whirl today.

Earphones.   Haven't used them.  I use a pair of Sennhheiser's.  They look very poor though and have moulded ear pieces rather than buds.  Such designs I find very uncomfortable to wear.
