The tors were rimed with frozen cloud:

It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Snowy Pingu in Austria.

Okay, it's not strictly winter, it was June.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

These are winter. November, from the weekend of the Ecosse Curry, in fact.

Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

There was a good inch of snow when I got up this morning! This is the south coast of France. How far south does one have to go!?!

A couple of recent ones from sunny Kirriemuir.

It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

Try going north - there's none here in Edinburgh!

Today, Mid-hampshire.

I don't remember the views on my local training loop ever being so beautiful.

The roads were perfectly dry but everything was covered in a very thick frost, almost as thick as snow

Brazil was warm and sunny. No snow, I have to report. Very pleasant.

The quoted statement doesn't say so either.  ;)

Your statement is however correct! The weather is Brazil can still be pretty good in winter as you will know. Going to the beach then for example is more than possible in fact, at least for us Northerners.
