I've just had a call from a friend, saying he's had a WhatsApp message appear under my number but with content indicating it had come from someone else. He called this third person, who I don't know, and they confirmed they'd sent the message. They wondered if the message had also appeared on my phone, which it hasn't. There's no similarity in our phone numbers or names and he's not done anything in settings that might mix up like this. So what's going on? Has my WA been hacked? Or the other person's? Or his? Or what?
