What's this then?
« on: 12 May, 2012, 02:18:56 pm »
I have found a small plastic bag containing two plastic tubes, each about 1/8th of inch in diameter and 2 inches long, two transparent, flexible plastic discs about 2 inches in diameter, and a screw-cap metal tube of some substance with no label other than the contents and health warnings, viz:

MEX 49.95%, Toluene 0.05%, acetone, 10%, polyurethane 30%, ethyl acetate, 10%

then there's a whole load of stuff about it being harmful or fatal if swallowed etc.

Dez thinks it's a tent-mending kit.

Googling the ingredients indicates a heavy duty plastic adhesive. The plastic discs might make it a groundsheet repair kit?

I think Plum is right. The tube of glue looks exactly the same as the one I've got.
