A beautiful day in Hadleigh Castle Country Park. Annie, Liz, Charlotte and Mrs. Wow on an 8-mile walk.

Here's one of me with my new hairstyle, first time it's been changed in 11 years! I wanted to go bald but my hairdresser refused to do it lol.

I'm on a digital photography course at the moment, trying taking close ups and pictures of old photos. here's one of me from 1980 and the flickr comments.

31/08/80 Saracen RR nr. Beoley. My last RR win. Although I had many wins in TTs and on the track, I only ever won 3 RRs, all 2nd/3rd Cat events, all in 1980 and all on my own. In this one I jumped away after a prime about a mile from the finish. This is a digital shot from a 1" x 1" thumbnail.

So go on then, as an experienced rider, which are your fondest victories?

difficult one to answer. I just enjoyed riding a bike and racing. Some races I got pleasure from just finishing, some I remember the excitement at getting 'placed'. I suppose the victories that I have fondest memories of are the GHS 10 in 1976, 1980 Tour of Cannock Chase TT, PB 10 in a Stafford RC club event in 1981, my 3 RR wins in 1980 and a 10 mile scratch event in an open event on Nottingham track in 1978

BNSV, has anyone ever commented on your likeness to a certain mockney chef?

Be careful, Michael Jackson once faced imprisonment for playing with a young lad's developing equipment.

Windy - interesting stuff. The reason I asked is that I wondered if RR or TTing gave you the best memories.

Sure that was a different picture yesterday too ???

Yeah, but I changed it cause I thought that was a better pic.

I thought I recognised you in the SFACC flickr set  :)
