Civilised 09:00hr cafe start in Longridge; more eating options available at 1st control of Glasson Dock; a small tidal ferry across the River Wyre is the 2nd control (hence the numbers limit); cycle the length of Blackpool prom past the Tower and Pleasure Beach (Candy Floss optional) to the 3rd control of Lytham; around Preston and pass Southport to 4th control of Formby; quiet roads to 5th and last control of Heath Charnock (fabulous Ice Cream available) then back to Longridge for a postal finish.
