My new Hilleberg Enan and footprint arrived today, courtesy of FedEx. Gods above, did I really just spend that much money on a one person tent? Set it up in the garden an hour ago just to check it out, and I have to say it is really nice. It also checks in at 1 ounce/28 grams lighter than my MSR Hubba NX (footprint included), which I suppose helps justify the cost. Very easy to pitch, and it seems a bit more livable than the Hubba NX. The inner door location seems to lend itself better to sleeping in either direction, which is nice. I'm off to the Maroon Bells Wilderness Wednesday for a couple of nights, so I'll see how the tent performs in the field.
