I'm tempted to look, given that tantalising title, but I'm not falling for it. Likely to be some old ugly looking moggy – and
not
what I'm hoping for!

Very good
I've been playing with a few panoramas recently, but my computer has been objecting to excessive numbers of images to stitch. Here's one that has worked:

OK, so my first attempt at a panorama splice.
This is an 8-image splice, covering about 270 degrees at a guess.
A few artefacts, but not too scrappy.

I don't like the look of all that wind slab on the left. I've been over that saddle on off-piste trips. There's probably a lot of good powder over the other side. Guides have been over the Col des Fours, which would be sheltered, and catching a lot of powder.

I'm trying to work out if that's directly behind the cable-car pylon.

I was fairly sure that the cars would work as they were spread out in an almost 180 degree arc, but I didn't know how the buildings behind them would look, but it turned out ok I think.

Very nice Zippers, but, for a panorama that makes you think "Damnit! I'm so jealous. I wish I was there!", then click on the link below. You'll have to scroll along the bottom to see it all. Also has me wondering just how fantastic the view would have been, stood there, taking in a 360
0
degree view:

Looking at it now, I wish I'd used a wider lens to get the near shore in. Yes, it was about to rain.

You could've done a lower sweep. Hugin would've stitched all the pix together OK.

Mrs Pingu made a panorama. It's at the 1:5 sign on the descent from Bastard Hill 1 on the Snow Roads.
