I heard him interviewed on the radio the other day and thought "Crikey! He must be getting on a bit!"

Then, two or three days later, there he isn't. 83. Younger than I thought.

Surprised he made it that far - he always looked unhealthy on TW3.

I don't think I ever saw him but I must have been aware of his name in the seventies as I used to confuse him with Rod Hull of emu fame. Rod Hudd and Roy Hull?
